If you are running on a 32-bit version of Mac OS X or Windows, then you will not be able to install the next major releases of Lightroom. However, it will work only on 64-bit versions of these operating systems. This means that Adobe Lightroom 6 will work only on Mac OS X 10.8 or newer and Windows 7 or newer versions. The company has announced that upcoming version of its popular image-editing software, called Lightroom 6, will support only 64-bit OSs. Unfortunately for them, the whole world is moving towards 64-bit and this includes Adobe.
